- Provide one-on-one support to KS1 students with ASC, assisting them with their learning and development.
- Implement tailored strategies and interventions to support the individual needs of each student.
- Collaborate closely with class teachers and SENCO to ensure the provision of a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Foster positive relationships with students, encouraging their social and emotional growth.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of differentiated activities to meet the diverse needs of learners.
- Experience working with children with ASC or similar SEN needs is highly desirable.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the varying needs of individual students.
- Relevant qualifications or training in SEN support would be advantageous.
