    Job summaryConsultant in Cellular Pathology with a special interest in Gynae-pathologyWe are seeking an exceptional candidate for this full-time substantive post (10 PAs) in Gynae-pathology.

    This postholder will be working with colleagues in Cellular Pathology and a number of partners at other organisations to deliver diagnostic gynae-pathology to UCLH and referring network hospitals.

    Main duties of the jobAllcandidates must be eligible for full GMC registration and either already be on the Specialist Register or be within six months of receiving CCST/ CCT in Histopathology at the time of interview.

    The post-holder will be expected to have experience of dealing with complex gynaecological cases and preferably have worked at a tertiary gynaecological centre.

    Knowledge and Qualifications

    EssentialFRCPath or equivalent.

    Full and Specialist registration (and with a licence to practise) with the General Medical Council (GMC) or be eligible for registration within six months of interview.

    Applicants that are UK trained, must ALSO be a holder of a Certificate of Completion of Training (CCT), or be within six months of award of CCT by date of interview.

    Applicants that are non-UK trained; they will be required to show evidence of equivalence to the UK CCT.MBBS or equivalent.
