Personal Assistant / Carer
Purpose of the job
PA required for a lovely young man who lives in Sandbach, CW11 area. Specific learning difficulties relating to language processing. No mobility issues. Support with being independent. Experience preferred.
Hours and rate of Pay
£11.90
6 hours per week – days & times to be agreed.
Main Duties
Promote local social inclusion.
Independent travel, online safety
Arranging own health appointments.
Daily living skills development to include budgeting.
Meal planning and shopping.
Personal Assistant Specification
My DBS check will be required.
Assistant must be honest, trustworthy, and reliable.
My assistant must respect my privacy and always maintain my dignity.
My assistant must be enthusiastic and flexible with a caring disposition.
You must be able to work well independently.
My personal assistant is accountable to me in all aspects of their work. They should always ask what my needs are and listen to my directions and requests.
The post is subject to an enhanced DBS disclosure which will be funded through your employer.
