    Hours of Work: Monday to Friday, 9am – 5pm
    Job Type: Full Time – Permanent
    Basic Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 Depending on Experience, with 10% Car allowance or Company Van.

Since our inception in 2016, we have experienced significant growth, evolving from a small team of four employees in a modest office to our current status, operating from our third office location with a workforce exceeding 90 dedicated professionals.

    What We're Looking For: We're seeking an experienced and driven Manager to join our Gas/Heating team. You will be responsible for the overall management of our Gas/Heating installation teams and supporting administration staff, in delivering Gas/Heating works for numerous client groups in an efficient and effective manner. You will have Experience in all aspects of Domestic heating installations in occupied properties.

    The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership and communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and the confidence to interact with customers effectively throughout.

    Key Responsibilities Include:

    The successful Gas Manager will be expected to:

    • Manage and monitor a team of gas engineers/contractors & office staff on the Heating Department, on installation programmes (not gas servicing) Gas Central Heating, Gas Boilers & Conversions and Air Source Heat Pump installations.
    • Monitor and effectively direct operatives to ensure optimal service delivery including the management of operatives and operative training, resource levels, productivity, customer satisfaction and complaints ect.
    • Ensure all Health & Safety policies and gas procedures are followed.
    • Monitor KPI's
    • Ensure that the day-to-day works are completed in full in accordance with the Gas Safe and industry regulations and other associated governing bodies in a timely manner.
    • Ability to work to deadlines and timescales.
    • Assist with recruitment, inductions and the onboarding of new engineers.
    • Deliver excellent customer service and build positive working relationship with clients and engineers.
    • Act as a first point of call for the team of engineers.
    • Complete audits on engineers in the field.
    • Attend client meetings and training.
    • Liaise with planning & dispatch teams.
    Requirements:
    • Valid UK driving license.
    • Experience working in the gas/heating industry (Minimum 5 Years).
    • Experience in delivering installation programmes.
    • Managerial experience essential.
    • Willingness to learn and educate on new technologies such as Air Source & Ground Source Heat Pumps
    • NVQ 3 qualified in Heating/Gas/Plumbing
    • ACS qualifications.
    • Health & Safety Training i.e. SSSTS/SMSTS
    • Experienced using Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word & Excel.
    • Must be driven for success.
    • Self-Motivated
    • Outstanding communication skills.
    • Can demonstrate people management skills.
