    Description

    Position: Project Manager with Security Clearance

    Location: Montserrat, Caribbean.

    Duration: up to 6 months with option to extend with additional projects

As part of continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Project Manager with security clearance to join the dedicated team.

    Role Overview: They are looking for a talented residential Project Manager with security clearance to oversee and manage projects from inception to completion. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating project activities, managing resources, and ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards. This role requires strong leadership, communication, and project management skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a secure environment.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead and manage construction projects, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
    • Coordinate project activities with internal teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
    • Develop project plans, budgets, and schedules, and monitor progress against established milestones and objectives.
    • Oversee site operations, including health and safety, quality control, and compliance with regulatory requirements and security protocols.
    • Conduct regular site inspections and audits to ensure that work is carried out to the required standards and specifications.
    • Manage project risks, issues, and changes, and implement effective mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions and delays.
    • Provide regular project updates and reports to senior management, stakeholders, and clients, and address any concerns or issues proactively.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promote teamwork and communication, and motivate project teams to achieve project goals.
    • Ensure that all project documentation, including contracts, permits, and approvals, is maintained accurately and up to date.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field.
    • Proven experience as a residential build Project Manager, preferably in government or defence projects.
    • Security clearance (essential), with experience working in secure environments and adhering to security protocols.
    • Strong knowledge of construction principles, practices, and techniques, as well as relevant regulations and standards.
    • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders and project teams.
    • Proficiency in project management software and tools, including MS Project, Primavera, or similar.
    • Health and safety certification (e.g., NEBOSH or IOSH) would be advantageous.
