- Provide a proactive and comprehensive Business Support Service to all Pilot Students under training in TTF, in accordance with TTF36 and TTF38.
- Carry out any other duties determined by the Senior Business Support Officer, Support Team Lead and Head of Operational Training Delivery.
- One on the team will be nominated as Deputy to the Senior Business Support Officer (SBSO) and assume SBSO responsibility during periods absence.
- The TTF Business Support Officer has no leadership responsibilities.
- The TTF Business Support Officer has no budget responsibilities.
- Have operational knowledge and understanding of Training and Instructional delivery activities, and the business' key performance metrics.
- Requires product knowledge and a good understanding of the relationship with interfacing / contributory areas.
- Comprehensive understanding of current IT software packages used within the Training discipline to include FlightPro and MODNet JPA.
- Have an awareness / understanding of the Financial, Commercial and Procurement processes
- Strong quantitative and analytical skills / experience.
- Effective, credible communicator with good interpersonal skills.
- Able to build good relationships with customers and other key stakeholders' personnel.
- Able to analyse and interpret data with a high level of attention to detail.

Morson Talent are currently recruiting for a Business Support Officer to work for our prestigious client based at RAF Coningsby on a 6 month initial contract.
WORKING HOURS – ON BASE- 5 days p/wk (Mon-Fri) around relevant site core hours (7.30am – 4.30pm Mon – Thurs, 7.30am – 12pm Fri).
- Hours required to work per week are 37.00 unless otherwise stated (this does not include lunch breaks).- Start and finish times to be agreed with local Line Management, in accordance with local site core hours.- Lunch break allowance is 30 minutes between 12.30 – 1:00pm (or as agreed with Line Manager).
30 mins will automatically be deducted each working day by the electronic time management system. - Dependant on workload, local management may request more or less hours are worked within this contract.Core Duties of the Business Support Officer:
Providing a proactive and comprehensive Business Support Service to all TTF Staff, Students and Visitors, including but not limited to:
o Access control to Building 507 & the non-restricted areas of Building 643.
o Collect and distribute the mail on a daily basis.
o Maintain an MOD standard filing system.
o Issue and control of Building 507 keys.
o Process Staff Arrivals and Clearances.
o Arrange Station Photographers for course photos.
o Monitor stationery stock, general office supplies and compile monthly stationery orders.
o Visitor briefs.
o Course bookings.
o JPA awards.
o Update FlightPro currencies for all TyTAN personnel.
o Monitor and respond to queries in the BSO Group Mailbox.
o All associated course administration, in accordance with TTF36, TTF38, TTF40 and TTF46.
