The Role


As delegated by Line Manager and/or Team Lead, this position is responsible for supporting the documents and data management team on behalf of Wood clients, in accordance with contractual arrangements.

Supporting client-based processes and systems to allow workflows to be fully applied and governed. Supporting the team responsible for management of engineering data and documentation supplied by clients, in order that


Providing team support and related administrative functions across document control, information and data management and management of customer preferred systems and related workflows.

Role includes management of engineering document and data control mailbox and associated tasks.


Varied role, providing client and team support to facilitate the management and migration of data and information between systems and teams across various.

Specific administrative and document management support based on client requirements.

Typical responsibilities

Internal:


  • Maintains communication with Contract Manager and the CIMS Manager
  • Provides weekly updates to the relevant team lead and attends weekly team meetings
  • Highlights potential delivery problems, in a timely and efficient manner, to the relevant Contract Manager / Team Lead
  • Liaises with colleagues at all levels, as dictated by the requirements of the individual projects
  • Supports incoming work for Lead/Senior Data Analysts and Document Controllers
  • Supports coordination and tracking of work tasks and information
  • External:
  • Attends weekly meetings with clients' IMDC teams
  • Responsible for working with clients' Asset and Functional inhouse teams
  • Responsible for supporting clients' thirdparty contactors as requested by client
  • Supporting use and maintenance of clientbased processes and systems

Decision Making:Decides on prioritisation of all activities under their jurisdiction.

Problem Solving: Responds to client's queries of a miscellaneous nature as part
of the ongoing support of client documentation or internal documentation. Monitors and recommends solutions for both their own and their team's working practices as work scopes change.

Influence:Recommends, in conjunction with the CIMS Manager / Leads and relevant Contract Manager working methodologies and processes to drive efficiency and provide continuous improvement.


Skills / Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:


  • Higher general education
  • Administration qualification preferable
  • RGU Document Control Foundation preferable

Minimum Experience:


  • Must have experience in an information and document handling environment or administrative role involving documentation or data management, database maintenance and issuing of documents
  • Project and Operationsrelated Data or Document Control experience preferable
  • Technical/Engineering documentation and document management environment awareness
  • Oil and gas industry experience preferable
  • Experience within clientfacing position preferable
  • Demonstrable appropriate experience at relevant level and position
