    The ideal candidate would have:

    • Understanding of BS5839:1, BS5266:1 and BS7671
    • Experience of BAFE SP203-1 and all NSI standards
    • Previous experience is necessary.
    • Must have full UK clean Driving Licence
    • Have a flexible and willing approach to work.
    • Good timekeeping
    • Customer orientated.
    • Good communication skills
    • Ability to work on their own initiative and as part of a team.

    • Experience 3 years (required)

    About the Role:

    Excellent opportunity for an experienced Fire and Security Service and Installation Engineer to join our accredited team, in the Southeast.

    Our client was founded in Oct 2008 and has been trading for 15+ years to date but has over 30 years of experience within the Integrated Systems field specialising in on-line computerised Access Control Systems, Closed Circuit Television Systems, remotely monitored Intruder Alarm Systems, advanced Addressable Fire Alarm Systems, Entrance controls, Shutters / Barriers as well as Structured Networking experience.

    All candidates must have previous experience in either installation/small works or service/maintenance. The ideal candidate should be able to work on their own initiative and be able to install/service fire systems to BAFE standards including commissioning, intruder alarm industry experience to NSI standards is essential along with knowledge of CCTV and access control systems.

    The package is commensurate with experience, knowledge base and qualifications. Overtime is frequently available for which additional payments will be made. Basic hours are 40hrs per week.

    • Carry out installations to Industry standards, NSI and BAFE.
    • Carry out system commissioning and Handovers to customers.
    • Carry out fault findings on systems.
    • Meet predefined target times for installation.
    • Clear and concise communication with the supervisors regarding customer issues
    • Electronic reporting and use of customer portals
    • Effective control of stock & vehicle audit
    • Awareness of Health & Safety
    • Present a professional appearance
