    Technical Sales Engineer (Ceramics / Materials)
    £35'000 - £45'000 + Bonus + Excellent Company Benefits
    Crewe, Cheshire (Commutable from: Stoke-On-Trent, Newcastle-Under-Lyme, Market Drayton, Whitchurch, Nantwich, Northwich, Congleton, Macclesfield)

    Are you a Technical Sales Engineer from a Ceramics or Materials background?

    Are you looking to join a global company, where you will be regarded as their UK go-to specialist within a highly-autonomous and technically-challenging role, offering significant variety around your workload?

    This is an excellent opportunity to get onboard with a worldwide manufacturer as part of European team, leading the development of their materials science research across both existing product lines and New Product Introduction.

    You will conduct materials research to identify areas for continuous improvements as well as fault-find using Lean Six Sigma methodology. Playing a key commercial role in the developing of new materials, you will also have autonomy to identify and pursue new industries and markets for business growth.

    This role suits a Technical Sales Engineer from a Ceramics or Materials background, looking for an interesting and highly-varied role.

    The Role

    • Conducting materials research.
    • Continuous improvements and fault finding, using Lean Six Sigma.
    • Developing new materials, with autonomy to identify and pursue new industries and markets for business growth.

    The Person

    • Technical Sales Engineer.
    • Ceramics or Materials background.
    • Ideally educated to Degree level or equivalent.
