Job Description FAC Technology is a deep-tech firm that researches and develops advanced materials. It won the 2023 Composites UK Award for Innovation.FAC Technology was formed in April 2011 to conduct molecular-level design and development of materials (including composite materials).
In order to do this, the company conducts a broad range of research activities ranging from computational analysis of electron microscope images to full-scale aerospace testing.
The company has developed a portfolio of innovative proprietary materials for industries including aerospace, space, construction and electric vehicles.
The company is in the midst of launching an aerospace product (the company is CAA-approved and field trials started in May FAC Technology is seeking a dynamic individual with expertise in industrial manufacturing and processing technology. The company is currently scaling production of its composite aerospace product as well as automating key process steps.The available position is for an expert consultant to support the scale-up and automation development on a part-time basis.
