Job Summary

What is the opportunity?


Performance Management forms a key part of the Finance team and will be responsible for the coordination and execution of financial planning and forecasting deliverables, business partnering and management reporting.


The position will be focused on the Wealth Management Europe business with a concentration on consolidated management and head office reporting.

This is a high-profile position within the team and requires excellent organisational and presentational skills.

Key deliverables include preparation of monthly reporting materials for the Wealth Management Europe (WME) executive committee as well as reporting and presenting WME results to the head office Wealth Management finance team, including the Global CFO of Wealth Management.


What will you do?

Performance Management / FP&A / Reporting

  • Design management reporting deliverables (both routine and adhoc) with visual impact, clear structure and reader friendly content.
  • Develop, manage and run working relationships within the WME finance team as well as finance colleagues based in head office.
  • Participate and contribute to required workshops, meetings, stakeholder updates and project presentations.
  • Continually seek to derive efficiencies and automation opportunities within performance Management functions and processes.
  • Responsible for working with and being the Finance point of contact with head office finance, providing data and insight as requested on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Produce monthly consolidated WME and WMI MI packs, which are presented to the WME ExCo
  • Coach / prepare the CFO and Director of Performance Management on the financial performance of WME on a monthly basis
  • Work closely with the financial control teams across WME during the monthly close to gain an understanding of results and be able to use this to produce consolidated MI

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

  • Qualified accountant
  • Financial Services experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Banking & Wealth Management businesses
  • Strong understanding of business drivers and how they impact the Finance data and process flows.
  • Strong excel skills
  • Strong Powerpoint skills
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Excellent story telling skills, ability to make the complicated simple
  • Experience using finance systems, IBM Cognos TM1

Nice-to-have

  • Project delivery experience
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to foster and cultivate partnerships
  • Strong technical accounting skills with exposure to IFRS
  • Strong functional knowledge/experience of Finance processes
  • Indepth understanding of Finance data and process flows front to back
  • Multiple stakeholder management skills
