TGS (UK) Ltd are Vehicle Fitters and retro fit to customer specification.

We provide our customers with a complete vehicle fitting service through specific design with our technical design engineers through to fully fitting the vehicle to maximise to it's full potential.

We are looking for a Vehicle Fitter/Technician - workshop operative in our Workshop is responsible to build LGV/Transit Vans Bodies to the correct specification, within the specified times, in a cost effective manner and that they meet the required standards as set out by Work Instructions, Manufacturers and Industry Bodies.

Someone who wants to improve their skills, loves to build, someone who works well on their own and within a team with multiple electric and air tools.

Primary Responsibilities:

Fitting, Assembling, and Installing Parts and Components to Light Commercial Vehicles to create a functional Truck Body to the required specification
The ability to read and understand drawings, instructions and data to ensure accuracy and quality
Adherence to the Job Pack to ensure the correct parts and components are used to maintain consistency and quality
Competent use of Air Tools, Power Tools, Hand Tools and Machine Tools ensuring the safety of yourself and others
Adherence to the allocated hours for each job thus ensuring they remain profitable.
Full and accurate completion of Daily Timesheets and other documentation as required.
Attend any meetings as requested
Respect the authority of your Team Leader or Manager
Respect and adhere to all Health and Safety measures that have been put in place for your protection
Wear and use the PPE and Work Wear provided
Close attention to detail
Enthusiasm and positivity
Excellent punctuality

This role is weekly paid
We have free parking on site
Full Time 40hrs per week
From £11.50 p/hr to £13.00 p/hr - Salary is very dependent on experience
