Description

FSB is seeking a Qualified Solicitor on a 6 month Fixed Term Contract to manage the initiation and maintenance of contracts and agreements with support from Senior Managers and the Company Solicitors.

The role is on a Fixed Term Contract initially with thepossibility of a permanent role at the end of the contract.


What will you do?

  • Draft and review contracts and other legal documents on behalf of the business
  • Create and update template contracts in line with legal requirements
  • Manage the contract process, including administration of contract management system and robust processes
  • Oversee any issues relating to Trading Standards and Intellectual Property in liaison, where appropriate, with FSB legal advisors
  • Instruct and liaise with the Groups legal representatives (outsourced solicitors, trademark advisors)
  • Negotiate contract amendments with 3rd parties.
  • Prioritise contracts activity
  • Liaise with Director of Corporate Governance on legal activity
  • Liaise with internal stakeholders on legal activity, contract lifecycle management
  • Research including new legal and regulatory developments
  • Advise on obligations and risk

Who are we looking for?

  • Experience as an inhouse legal assistant
  • Process improvement
  • Successfully managed implemented processes and procedures for contract approval
  • Knowledge of contract law
  • Excellent knowledge of legal terminology

Job details

  • North West Head Office/Flexible
  • 35 hours per week
