CONTRACTS EXECTUIVE-EUROPE - Angela Shanley Associates Ltd.

  • Negotiating seasonal FIT & Group contract rates as well as Special Deals with suppliers of a wider range of accommodation products in France and some other selective European countries (Italy, Baltics, Nordics, Hungary).


Pro-actively researching, identifying, and contracting potential new product sources relevant to our existing and potential client's needs, whilst liaising closely with Contracts Manager on those needs.

Maintaining and loading of rates into the Tourplan reservation system and any other back-office tariffs, to specific deadlines.

Providing support for Reservations and / or Finance department with regards to any contracted rate queries.


Ensuring that any existing or new product is showing correct content & imagery in the online system and updating this on a regular basis as and when required.


Continuously looking for opportunities to improve on, or give added value to, existing contracted rates, either exclusively, market / programme specific or for general use.


Assisting in ensuring required levels of availability are maintained for all products wherever possible and supporting the Inventory Manager in this respect.


Undertaking regular local/regional visits to suppliers to develop relationships, inspect product & negotiate face to face, when necessary, in order to secure the best possible rates.


Assisting with regular market competitiveness analysis and if needed assist in the recalculation of selling rates and/or re-negotiation of rates.


Providing comprehensive product support to all members of the ASA team and assisting in the implementation of any new booking procedures for new product and any specific training that may be required.


Assisting in organising and hosting familiarisation trips for our team, involving a certain amount of time out of office hours.


Participating in trade events in the UK which may or may not involve overnight stays and time out of office hours.

Assisting in maintaining company's social media channels (facebook, twitter, linkedin etc) according to company's policies and senior Directors' guidelines.

Maintaining excellent communication with suppliers at all times and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.


Salary:
From £24,000.00 per year
