The Role


A Creative Strategist at Campfire will work under the guidance of the Creative Strategy Director, playing a key role in developing and implementing innovative digital strategies.


Put simply, success in this role is when you are collaborating effectively with the strategy team to define new, innovative creative strategies, that not only meet the client's brand guidelines and objectives, but provides a strong creative thread to produce high performing content across the varying social platforms.

You would analyse the delivery team's performance against your creative strategy and regularly collaborate with the strategy team, delivery teams and client services team to understand how well your current creative strategy is working, and what improvements can be made.


As well as this you will spend some of your time assessing competitor output, and other output from other markets at large to consider and innovate upon that should lead to internal testing of new creative/content concepts that could create successful marketing moments for our clients.

We are looking for someone who can both set a successful creative-strategic course, but not be afraid to test and set a new course when they find new information.


Key Responsibilities:


Support in Digital Strategy Development:


  • Assist in developing digital strategies that align with client goals and the dynamic digital landscape. Collaborate closely with the Creative Strategy Director and Creative Strategy Lead to refine and implement innovative campaign ideas.

Creative Execution and Ideation:


  • Lead specific creative projects, ensuring they align with the overall strategic vision. Conduct and participate in brainstorming sessions and creative workshops, contributing fresh and innovative ideas.

Client Engagement Support:


  • Work alongside the Creative Strategy Director and Creative Strategy Lead in understanding client objectives and translating them into effective strategies. Help in maintaining strong client relationships through consistent and effective communication.

Platform and Content Expertise:


  • Maintain a deep understanding of various social platforms and adapt content styles to suit their unique cultures and audience behaviours. Ensure that creative strategies are culturally relevant and resonate with the target audience.

Team Collaboration and Support:


  • Foster a collaborative environment, encouraging idea sharing and innovation.

  • Continuously update skills and knowledge in digital marketing trends and creative strategy.
  • Share insights and learnings with the team to foster collective growth.


As the Creative Strategist your role is crucial in ensuring that campaign strategies are not only creatively compelling but also aligned with broader departmental and client objectives.

Your ability to think creatively and strategically will be instrumental in driving the success of our digital campaigns.
