GENERAL SUMMARY

As part of the Supply Chain Team, the apprentice will support all aspects of production, planning, warehousing and purchasing activities.

Reporting to Head of Supply Chain - CELEROS FLOW TECHNOLOGY, the primary purpose of this apprenticeship is to develop and perform purchasing and warehousing related activities.

Work closely with the team in maintaining Customer On-Time Delivery (COTD) for all the tasks and processes using different tools and systems to meet customer requirements, addressing the opportunities of continuous improvement.

Supporting the Purchasing team to focus on reducing our costs.

Principle Duties and Responsibilities

Work through a 4year internal apprenticeship training program, which includes purchasing, planning, warehousing and Lean/Continuous Improvement. You will also gain exposure to all other manufacturing departments.
Attend day release college and complete all assignments & examinations to obtain relevant BTEC qualifications
Complete NVQ level 3 qualification in conjunction with the education provider
Assist the Buyers in identifying new sources of supply where required
Ensure all Purchase Orders T&C's in line with Celeros Supply Chain directives.
PO placement transacted onto SAP or via Credit Card
All assigned Invoice queries reconciled and communicated through liaising with relevant internal and external departments.
Action all assigned Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and Engineering Change Notes (ECNs) through process whilst liaising internally and externally to conclusion and resolution.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

GCSE passes or equivalent in Maths, English and Science
A willingness to learn and to take on new / challenging responsibilities within the business
A commitment to completing a fouryear Apprenticeship scheme
Desire to continue education beyond a four year Apprenticeship programme
