    ITV Technology and Global Partnerships are working together on a major programme of change, building out new systems and capabilities for Rights, Content Sales & Licensing, Royalties and Contract Lifecycle Management.

    The Data and Reporting Analyst will be a key part of this programme, helping unlock the true value of the data that ITV Studios holds, providing insight and analytics on top of the wealth of information that is created during the content production, delivery, marketing and sales processes.

    This role will be crucial to providing operational ownership of ITV Studios' data strategy, enhancing our understanding of our markets and customers, as well as the content that we create, produce, distribute and monetise.

    As part of a wider programme of change, the initial focus is to support on developing and documenting with business stakeholders the technology roadmap for delivering data insights into the ITV Studios Global Partnerships business.

    This encompasses not only the end user facing dashboards and reports but also the underlying sources of data and metadata that need to be brought together.

    The successful candidate will then work alongside engineering and product teams to build and iterate on this platform, bringing together data from Salesforce, rights management, sales and licensing, performance reporting and other sources to provide business value through better visibility and analytics on the value of our content.

    This role is then expected to form the core of a data capability across the software product estate in ITV Studios, working in partnership with both business stakeholders and product teams to drive greater visibility, clarity and understanding of the rich data set available, driving benefits across the business.

    Develop understanding of Global Partnerships business - markets, customers, content monetisation strategies, value chains and supply chains.

    • Work alongside the broader Engineering and Product capabilities to establish the foundation of the systems required, including data collection, storage, cleansing and visualisation, within the context of existing tools and systems in use across the broader enterprise.

    • This role is technical, requiring hands-on delivery, but is also business facing, helping to engage with business customers to capture their needs, translate those needs into deliverable outcomes and to deliver those outcomes in the form of reports / dashboards and insights.
    Demonstrable experience of Data Analytics and Data Modelling.
    Experience of structuring and profiling data.
    Good SQL, Python or other data processing and preparation.
    Tools for bringing together and structuring disparate data sources and making data available for use.

    Working knowledge of data visualisation and reporting tools such as Tableau, Google Data Studio, etc to provide an enhanced user experience in regards to data presentation.

    Ability to interpret complex data and present to non-technical audiences.

    Proven ability to translate technical implementations into business-friendly explanations, to demo functionality and encourage interactive dialogue with business stakeholders.

    Experience of working to Agile principles, ensuring development is geared to realising value quickly and iteratively.
    Working knowledge or interest to learn Salesforce would be an advantage.
    Past experience of large scale data cleansing and migration would be beneficial.
