- The role of the Project Manager is to develop and maintain an effective and productive relationship between the design team, project / site teams, commercial, client, supply chain partners and technical stakeholders.
- The Project Manager will be instrumental in co-ordinating and leading the team, through the safe delivery of the packages to mitigate risk and drive opportunities to maximise value to the client and Lendlease.
- You will be responsible for the construction delivery through to handover for the works packages, including the management of design changes and package contract administration.
- Ability to adopt and follow established project processes for contract administration, communications and document management
- Previous experience working as a Project / Package Manager on large construction projects. If you are an Assistant PM looking to make the step up we will also be keen to hear from you.
- Working knowledge of technical standards and regulations
- Working knowledge of the JCT form of contract, in particular experience in Management Contracting
- Experience working with artisan and specialist trades (desirable)
- Knowledge of delivering works in environments with heritage significance ( Listed buildings) is desirable but not essential.
- Experience utilising digital technology ( Aconex, Sablono, QA tools)
- Experience managing consultants to ensure design and quality assurance deliverables are achieved and recorded
- Ability to manage package risks and drive opportunities to maximise value
