    The role

    We are recruiting for a Project Manager to join our UK Regions Construction business on a major heritage refurbishment project in Manchester City Centre.

    What will you do?

  • The role of the Project Manager is to develop and maintain an effective and productive relationship between the design team, project / site teams, commercial, client, supply chain partners and technical stakeholders.
  • The Project Manager will be instrumental in co-ordinating and leading the team, through the safe delivery of the packages to mitigate risk and drive opportunities to maximise value to the client and Lendlease.
  • You will be responsible for the construction delivery through to handover for the works packages, including the management of design changes and package contract administration.
  • Ability to adopt and follow established project processes for contract administration, communications and document management
  • You will bring

  • Previous experience working as a Project / Package Manager on large construction projects. If you are an Assistant PM looking to make the step up we will also be keen to hear from you.
  • Working knowledge of technical standards and regulations
  • Working knowledge of the JCT form of contract, in particular experience in Management Contracting
  • Experience working with artisan and specialist trades (desirable)
  • Knowledge of delivering works in environments with heritage significance ( Listed buildings) is desirable but not essential.
  • Experience utilising digital technology ( Aconex, Sablono, QA tools)
  • Experience managing consultants to ensure design and quality assurance deliverables are achieved and recorded
  • Ability to manage package risks and drive opportunities to maximise value
