Description
Key responsibilities

  • Provide small group or oneonone support to student or students with SEND.
  • Work with the class teacher and the SENCO to develop and implement personalised education plans.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and materials to accommodate the unique learning styles and abilities of the student.
  • Monitor the student's progress and provide feedback to the class teacher, SENCO and parents/guardians.
  • Implement behaviour management strategies and provide a supportive and nurturing environment for the student

Requirements:


Essential

  • Experience of working with children.

DBS on the update service (or willing to get on)_

  • A highly driven, enthusiastic and resilient individual.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety in a school environment and ability to promote safeguarding of children.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.

Desirable

  • Experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs.
  • Understand SEN best practices and requirements.
  • Degree in Psychology or CPD courses.

Salary:
£84.77-£95.00 per day
