What you'll do:


  • Write docs that enable new SigTech customers to quickly leverage our code library
  • Help make SigTech's documentation precise, concise and engaging.
  • Contribute to the evolution of our documentation processes and strategies.
  • Write clear and informative release notes for new product features.
  • Iteratively improve our docs in response to user insights gathered by our UX, customer support, and product management teams.
  • Continuously enhance our documentation, incorporating insights from customerfacing colleagues.

What you'll need to succeed:


  • Programming knowledge: Basic proficiency in Python or a comparable programming language (e.g., R, C#, C++, Java). Understanding of fundamental concepts such as variables, functions, loops, lists, and dictionaries is essential. Advanced programming skills, like creating custom classes, are not required.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years in technical writing, preferably in a technologyfocused environment.
  • Initiative and ownership: A proactive approach to maintaining high standards in documentation. Willingness to test your own work and seek expertise when necessary.
  • Attention to detail: A meticulous approach to ensuring consistency and precision in all documentation.
  • Curiosity: A natural inclination to explore and understand complex systems in depth.
  • Empathy and imagination: The ability to view and evaluate documentation from various user perspectives, ensuring accessibility and comprehensibility for all users.
