Job Description
We are seeking a mid-to-senior level hedge fund operations director for our back/middle office.

The candidate will be responsible for reconciling trades, positions, and cash balances, monitoring P&L, and compliance, and supporting fund financial statements preparation.

The candidate will also work on compliance monitoring and compliance reporting.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Back/Middle Office Officer for a liquid hedge fund.

This position is fully remote, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home.


Responsibilities:

• Perform daily reconciliations of trades, positions, and cash balances.
• Monitor and report on P&L, risk exposures, and performance metrics.
• Assist with the implementation and maintenance of operational business processes.
• Liaise with external service providers and counterparties as needed.
• Support the third-party Administrator in Reviewing the monthly NAV workbook and implementing improvements, preparing annual Fund financial statements.
• Monitor cash flow projections and LP capital activity.
• Prepare budget and forecast analysis with the development of related management reports.
• Work closely with the Investment team and GP team on all accounting-related requests.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in back/middle office operations within the financial services industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications.
• Knowledge of hedge fund operations and liquid instruments is preferred.
• Fluent in English
• High communication skills.
