    Description

    Overview

    The focus of this role is to provide the Sales Account with an accurate and timely order verification and processing service, delivering best in class sales order management, so that the Customer onboarding experience delivers as advised at point of sale.

    The Primary Responsibilities for This Role Are:

    • Process all assigned sales orders accurately and on time daily, weekly, and monthly, and own the journey flow of every sale through to connection
    • Maintain daily report of all orders and be able to provide on-demand updates for stake-holders, management and clients on status of all sales
    • Ensure compliance in all sales processing and reporting
    • Complete order verification calls with Customers to confirm details of their order
    • Take ownership of the sales pipeline to ensure all sales are proactively managed from receive to connected to give 100% connection rate for the client
    • Work closely with the sales team to ensure strong communication resulting in maximum return of sales received to connected
    • Identify opportunities to add value and enhance the service provided to the sales team and the client
    • General administration duties as required to support the successful functioning of the sales team

    Requirements

    Required Experience & Competencies:

    • At least 12 month's experience in a fast past-paced operations or administrative role
    • Prior experience and proven advanced ability in Microsoft Office software applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook)
    • Passion for ownership of a process or workstream to deliver success through autonomy
    • Ability to perform in a team environment and on own initiative
    • Comfortable liaising with Customers by phone and naturally Customer centric

    PERSON SPECIFICATIONS (i.e. the knowledge, skills, abilities and personal characteristics required for performing the job effectively)

    Essential:
    • Previous experience in sales order management, processing and/or reporting
    • Experience within the Utilities sectors, either sales based or operations/admin
    • Initiative and ability to perform independently and without direct supervision
    • Problem solving skills
    • Effective time management and organisation skills
    • Commitment to process and account improvements through constructive critical appraisal of role
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    Communication Skills:
    • Ability to communicate with people from all levels within an organisation
    • Ability to verbally express oneself clearly, face to face and by phone
    • Ability to communicate and present material in multimedia format
    • Ability to present data, numbers and tables clearly with focus on relevance and clarity

    • Identify and implement minimum one new way of working per quarter which provides efficiencies and adds value for CPM and Clients
