    We are looking for a Governance Officer to join our Legal and Governance team.

    Title: Governance Officer

    Salary: £30,862 per annum (£38,577 full-time equivalent)

    Contract: Fixed term (12 months)

    Hours: 28 per week (4 days)

    Location: Hybrid*, withhead office in Hampstead, London

    The Governance Officer is a vital role and effective governance reporting and oversight is essential to the charity's function. The current Governance Officer has been seconded to Head of Commercial Operations and as such, this role will be covering her position whilst she is on secondment for 12 months. You will help manage Anthony Nolan and Anthony Nolan Trading Limited's strategic engagement with the Board of Trustees, supporting the Director of Legal and Governance, with oversight from the Head of Operations, in all governance matters and working with the Board, the Strategic Leadership Team, the CEO's team and other key stakeholders to ensure the effective governance of the charity.

    To be successful you will have an eye for detail and a strong interest in corporate governance underlined by improving organisational process, transparency and accountability throughout Anthony Nolan. Strong interpersonal skills and resilience are also important as is the ability to deal with confidential information with the utmost discretion.
