In this role you will have overall responsibility for driving the analysis, developing the statistical models, producing the clear insights, and building the strong stakeholder relationships needed, in support of Atlanta's marketing strategy.

You will utilise market-leading analytical tools which, together with your leadership skills, technical expertise, and industry knowledge, will produce clear and actionable solutions for the business.


You will lead the team in the running of marketing campaign data selections, marketing analysis and optimisation/targeting, for both online and offline activity and working closely with colleagues in the Marketing department.

You will also work with BI / MI and others in the continuous development of reports and dashboards relating to marketing activity.


You will be required to interpret the analysis, reporting and MI available - through spotting trends, performing more in-depth investigations, producing summary reports / presentations, and collaborating with the various marketing teams.

This will all be done to understand the performance of past marketing activity, predict future performance, and adapt Atlanta's customer and marketing strategies going forwards.


You will line manage a direct report and be responsible for setting their objectives, assigning their work and priorities, reviewing their performance, and supporting their career progression and personal development.

How will you do this?

  • Lead on the analytical support provided to Marketing and others around campaign data selections, analysis, testing, modelling, profiling and reporting
  • Advise and recommend improvements to future marketing activity, underpinned by comprehensive analysis conducted and insights gained by the team
  • Ascertain requirements, and support in the delivery of reports and presentations on Atlanta's marketing performance to senior stakeholders
  • Identify and fulfil new datadriven opportunities in the areas of customer acquisition, upsell, crosssell and retention
  • Ensure data required for analysis and reporting is available and is accurate, identifying and resolving gaps as required
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders in key areas such as Marketing, Business Intelligence and IT
  • Operate as an effective leader and role model, who delivers results and drives continuous improvement for the business
About you

  • Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in a numerical discipline
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, evidenced through employment (preferably in financial services) and academic background
  • Strong knowledge of a range of statistical techniques and concepts e.g. logistic regression, clustering, decision trees, machine learning
  • Excellent SAS, SQL and R programming skills
  • Previous experience of leading a team in an analytical function
  • Proven influencing skills to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment and deliver results
  • Experience of other analytical tools e.g. Python, Power BI, GA
