This is an exciting opportunity to support the work of the CNWL Paediatric Psychology service based at Chelsea and Westminster hospital.
The service provides psychological support to children, young people with significant physical health problems.You would be based on site with the team providing administrative support for the day-to-day running of the service as well as to the head of the service.
It is a warm and friendly team, comprised of assistant and qualified psychologists and is well respected within the hospital.
You would also be liaising with other paediatric psychology teams across the CNWL region. Flexible working is supported.

The work will primarily involve working with the Head of Paediatric Psychology and providing a personal secretarial service for the Clinical Psychologists and other staff in the Service.
In addition to word processing and audio-typing skills, the post involves coordinating the administrative side of the Clinical Health Psychology service, and telephone contact with Children and families, Hospital Consultants and Junior Doctors and General Practitioners, which is often of a challenging and sensitive nature.
These activities include complex staff / work planning which change on a daily basis depending on the needs of the service.
Chelsea & Westminster Hospital is a large teaching hospital offering secondary and tertiary level medical services to ethnically and socio-economically diverse populations.
Clinical Psychology services are provided to the Paediatric inpatient units, including neonates, and Paediatric Outpatients, including dedicated psychology for specialist paediatric teams, including diabetes, gastroenterology, oncology, orthopaedic, plastics & burns.
The Central and North West London NHS Trust (CNWL) is responsible for the provision of Child and Adolescent Mental health Services (CAMHS) to the populations of Brent, Hillingdon, Kensington & Chelsea and Westminster, as well as providing a range of highly specialist services to other Trusts and Agencies, and to a wider regional catchment area.
Organise planning and management meetings on behalf of Head of Paediatric Psychology.
Maintain diary for Head of Paediatric Psychology.
To attend and minute meetings when required.
Typing confidential letters, minutes, documents, summaries, assessments and reports as requested by Clinical Psychologists. This involves both copy and audio-typing.
Recording new referrals, sending out waiting list letters and arranging appointments, acknowledging receipt to referrer and patient and keeping waiting list up to date.
