Job Summary:
Responsible for visual (UI) and functional (UX) design to create an optimal experience for users interacting with DDI web platforms.
Create user flows, wireframes and A/B tests to help define and optimise the user journey though the booking funnel, with a mobile-first mindset.
Develop new templates and layouts within the web framework to evolve the front-end UI/UX, while aligning to Disney Parks brand identity.
Gathering user requirements, design graphic elements and build UI components to create a coherent, easy-to-use interface language.This role has a requirement to be on-site 4 days per week.
Areas of Responsibility:
- Support the business by delivering design work, creating usercentered design using available insights, including: customer feedback, quantitative data and metrics, and usability findings
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with Digital Product Owner, digital marketing team, and Senior Manager
- Ecommerce & Digital
- Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps. Ensure adherence to brand guidelines and present to key stakeholders where appropriate
- Design UI templates and elements (e.g. navigation, menus, tabs, buttons, etc.) while adhering to brand style guideline standards on fonts, colours and imagery
- Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences and cleary illustrate functionality, incorporating customer feedback, usage metrics, and usability insights into design
- Create original designs both in Scamp (e.g. sketches, wireframes) and finished artwork format, and present to internal teams and key stakeholders
- Own and manage A/B testing and usability programs to identify and troubleshoot UX challenges, and perform analysis to inform and make recommendations on ongoing optimisation
- Effectively collaborate with key stakeholders to develop and deliver customercentric user journeys that are coherent and easy to use

- Accountable to Lead Application Developer and Senior manager

- Accountable for creating core UI/UX design solutions, prototypes, user flows, wireframes, etc.
- Accountable for the effective management, implementation and analysis of A/B testing
- Accountable for the design of new templates and layouts within the web framework to evolve the frontend UI/UX
- Accountable for compliance with corporate guidelines ensuring brand consistency and integrity
- Accountable for cultivating and maintaining productive relationships and collaborating across departments internally and externally
- Accountable for contributing to the success of the team
Experience and Professional Qualifications Required:
- Proven handson experience within UX/UI Design across multiple commercial, publicfacing platforms
- Experience using and gaining insight from A/B testing tools (e.g. VWO, Target, etc.)
- Experience with project management tools (e.g. JIRA, Basecamp, etc.)
- Experience of working within Agile methodology, beneficial
Skills Required:
- Excellent organisation, time management skills and ability to prioritise
- Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Powerpoint), Keynote, and design softwares such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator), essential
- Working knowledge of wireframe and prototyping tools (e.g. InVision, Balsamiq, )
- Strong communication skills including spoken and written English for business use and ability to communicate design concepts effectively
- Excellent stakeholder and relationship management skills
- Conceptual, innovative thinker
- Demonstrable technical skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work under pressure and prioritise workload
