Band 6 £37,831 to £46,100 per annum

Plus £1,279 Distant Islands Allowance per annum

37 Hours per Week

A vacancy has arisen for a Community Psychiatric Nurse with special interest in Dementia to join our team in Uist and Barra to provide specialised support to individuals who have a diagnosis of dementia.

You will be required to support the adult mental health CPN team when required and will be expected to have a responsibility for the co-ordination of care needs, assessment, planning, and implementation and evaluation of evidence based care for adult patients with mental health difficulties.

The post holder will provide professional advice and support to other agencies and members of the multi-disciplinary team.

You will be one of several CPNs who are rostered to provide a 24/7 on call service that ensures the service is accessible across a 7-day-a-week service and will coordinate

and provide specialised acute crisis psychiatric interventions and expertise to

service users in crisis during within their own home / residence,
