    Job Description

    As a Head of Operations, you will oversee the operational activities of Manigo including being responsible for creating policies to help achieve strategic goals and coordinate business operations to fulfil customer or client expectations. You will ensure compliance with all relevant regulations regarding the operational side of the business. You will work with other senior staff on strategic planning, ensuring that staff are all aware of operational best practices and will be integral in implementing new technologies. You will manage relationships with suppliers, clients, customers and other stakeholders and provide a point of escalation for any customer service / client issues that arise.

    Responsibilities

    • Responsible for leading the teams delivering operations and customer support
    • Manage key supplier relationships, including monitoring performance against agreed service levels and negotiating contracts
    • Develop and improve operational systems to support rapid scaling of the business to maintain low cost per contact
    • Deliver outstanding customer service and support
    • Deliver operational aspects of partnerships
    • Evaluate performance by analysing and interpreting data and metrics
    • Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures
    • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
    • Seek all means to improve operation processes for efficiency and productivity; lead and convince team members to make changes for efficiency and productivity
    • Oversee contract negotiation and legal activities: client contracts, partnership agreements, vendor contracts, and other legal documents
    • Support other areas of the business to ensure effective execution of the business plan and product roadmap
    • Contribute to the wider commercial strategy, planning and business development

    Requirements

    • 3-5 years in a similar role
    • Experience working in the Fintech / EMI environment
    • Experience working in a start-up/scale-up environment (preferred)
    • Excellent IT skills and understanding of technological processes
    • Auditing and monitoring outputs and data analysis
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
    • Leadership and management skills and the ability to motivate and retain staff
    • Commercial awareness and a thorough understanding of the competitive environment
    • Excellent planning and organisational skills
    • Project management skills
    • Time management skills and the ability to prioritise effectively and delegate when appropriate
