    Responsibilities

    • Renovation and routine maintenance of assembly equipment
    • Carry out Planned preventative maintenance on automated production facilities.
    • Ensure strict adherence to safe working practices and observe safety rules at all times.
    • Timely response to equipment stoppages
    • Improvements to assembly equipment.
    • Key performance indicators such as equipment.
    • Carry out fault finding and undertake timely repair of equipment in the following areas;
    • Robotics/PLC's/Electrical Control Systems/Hydraulics/Pneumatics
    Requirements / experience

    • Experience with PLC (Programmable Logic Controllers) and HMI's (Human Machine Interface.
    • Time served in Electro Technical
    Proven problem solving skills

    • Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems
    • Knowledge of MIG welding and Spot-Welding process
    • Knowledge of robotic welding
    • Reasonable level of mechanical aptitude including welding, fabrication, and mechanical fitting
    • Experience within an automotive maintenance environment and knowledge of maintenance systems.
    • Problem solving skills/experience.
    • Highly organised and can effectively manage time and prioritise workload.
    • Must be able to establish clear objectives and be result focused.
    • Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills, open to change and have a can-do approach.
    • Self-motivated
    • Team Orientated
    • Must have MS Office and AutoCAD
    Qualifications

    • Electrical maintenance apprenticeship or time served – equivalent EAL/City and Guilds 236 L2/2330 L3
    * 17th or 18th Edition

    • Electrical HNC
