    Plumber / Multi

    Sittingbourne

    Salary Range: £32,000 - £34,000, inclusive of van and fuel card

    Type of Employment: Permanent

    Description: We are looking for a skilled plumber to join our team that focuses on maintaining social housing. The ideal candidate should excel in a variety of plumbing tasks and have prior experience working in social housing. This role requires a diverse set of skills where you will troubleshoot and fix plumbing issues efficiently.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Performing regular maintenance checks and repairs in social housing units.
    • Installation, repair, and upkeep of plumbing systems, such as pipes, fixtures, and fittings.
    • Identification of plumbing problems and timely implementation of solutions.
    • Ensuring all tasks meet high standards and comply with relevant regulations.
    • Coordinating with tenants and team members to schedule work and deliver top-notch customer support.
    • Being on call for emergencies when necessary.
    • Completing necessary documentation and keeping precise records of work completed.

    Requirements:

    • Demonstrated experience as a plumber, preferably in social housing or a related environment.
    • Thorough understanding of plumbing systems and components.
    • Relevant plumbing certifications (e.g. NVQ Level 2 or equivalent).
    • Capability to work independently and collaboratively.
    • Strong problem-solving abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Effective communication skills and a focus on customer satisfaction.
    • Possession of a valid driver's license.
    • Readiness to undergo background checks and obtain DBS clearance.
