    We have an exciting opportunity for a Claims Adjuster to help grow and develop within our Claims department in Glasgow, by joining our Chubb Global Markets claims team. We offer excellent training which allows you to successfully handle a portfolio of Aviation claims with the opportunity to learn other lines of business within our Chubb Global Markets offering.

    Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately assess a range of simple and complex Aviation claims, evaluate liability and quantum while also considering all relevant factors including elements such as special investigation and recovery.
  • Negotiate settlement of claims to bring them to a successful conclusion through high levels of customer care and you will ensure a professional claims service is provided at all times.
  • Engage with key internal partners and clients to ensure a fair and robust investigation of claim cases, follow specific account requirements and participate in audits when required.
  • To work within the framework of Chubb ethical and service standards and focus on service delivery across the team for all internal/external client groups and stakeholders. To fulfil compliance and regulatory requirements (including complaints procedure).
  • To act as part of a team to ensure both Team and individual goals are met and to work with third party service providers to ensure claims service standards are maintained.
  • Previous Claim handling experience.
  • Financial Services or Insurance sector experience is a preference but not essential.
  • Experience dealing with Aviation, Marine or London Market claims - advantageous.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Experience of working in a Commercial Insurance claims environment is advantageous and proven work experience in a customer facing environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and have the ability to acquire new IT skills.
  • Awareness of Regulatory Compliance as it applies to the Insurance Industry
