Teacher of PE - Full-time, Fixed-Term
Robert Gordon's College is looking to appoint an enthusiastic and inspiring full time temporary PE Teacher to contribute to its sector leading and exciting 3-18 PE and Sports Curriculum and Co-curricular programme. The post is available from August 2024 and will continue until the end of the 2024/2025 session, in the first instance. Applications welcome from probationers and newly qualified teachers.
The remit for the post is as follows:
The PE Department has 14 members of Physical Education staff including the Head of Physical Education, an Assistant Head of Department and a Director of Sport. In addition there are a number of Sport coaches, swimming instructors and Ad-hoc coaches who all contribute to the delivery of the core curriculum for which the Head of PE is responsible, and the Co-Curriculum for which the Director of Sport is responsible.
PE and Sport is a major part of life at RGC. As well as our PE, Swimming, and S&C facilities at our Schoolhill campus in the city centre, we have a 39-acre PE and Sport ground at Countesswells to the west end of the city. We are ambitious to invest in our PE and Sport facilities at both Schoolhill and Countesswells in the next few years.
