    Job Title: EHS Senior Professional - Construction Site Lead

    Location: New Deer

    Experience: Minimum of 5 years in EHS leadership roles

    Responsibilities:

    1. EHS Strategy and Process Implementation:
    • Develop and implement EHS strategies aligned with project goals.
    • Re-implement EHS processes for CDM-P380 & Grid UK documentations.
    • Ensure compliance with official policies and regulations.
    1. Leadership and Coordination:
    • Lead EHS activities at the construction site, serving as the primary point of contact for customers, consortium partners, and authorities.
    • Coordinate with subcontractor leadership teams and supervision to ensure alignment with EHS objectives.
    • Drive a culture of safety and accountability through strong leadership and engagement.
    1. Interpersonal Skills and Stakeholder Management:
    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders to build relationships and address concerns.
    • Represent the project in interactions with customers, consortium partners, and regulatory authorities.
    • Act as a liaison between P380 requirements and official policies, ensuring seamless integration.
    1. Safety Oversight and Control:
    • Implement measures to control and mitigate EHS risks at the construction site.
    • Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.
    • Provide leadership and support to subcontractor teams to uphold safety protocols.

    Requirements:

    1. Experience:
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EHS leadership roles within the construction industry.
    • Proven track record of driving EHS initiatives and implementing safety processes.
    1. Technical Skills:
    • Familiarity with CDM-P380 and Grid UK documentations.
    • Strong understanding of relevant safety regulations and industry standards.
    1. Leadership Abilities:
    • Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate teams to achieve EHS objectives.
    • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
    1. Qualifications:
    • Relevant degree or certification in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field.
    1. Adaptability:
    • Ability to adapt to changing project requirements and prioritize tasks accordingly.
    • Willingness to travel as necessary to fulfill job responsibilities.
