Internal Sales Representative in our
Glasgow branch

The
Internal Sales Representative can enjoy

As a
Internal Sales Representative , this is what your day-to-day will look like and how your contribution will add value to our business, in addition to some extra relevant tasks as required:

Engage with key stakeholders and customers face to face and via the phone and respond to queries, providing price quotes and processing orders
Develop new (and maintain) sales beneficial and profitable sales by proactively targeting new customers
Collaborate closely with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure the right products are delivered at the right time
Submit orders into the system and maintain sales records
Ensure accuracy of data in orders and invoices
Maintain accurate sales and customer records
Internal communication of customer feedback
Ensure sales targets are met and exceeded, and report any shortfalls/anomalies
Keep abreast with new industry products and services (including competitors)

We are looking for the following characteristics and skills from the
Internal Sales Representative we employ.

Able to work with a high degree of accuracy
Committed to learn and progress within the branch
Understanding of sales Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
Commercial acumen
Experience in a Sales Administrator or Support Agent role (or similar)
CRM software and MS Office (particularly Excel)
Track record of having met and exceeded sales targets
Customer service best practices
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills
Providing excellent customer service
Prioritisation and timemanagement skills
Adaptive communication with crosscultural awareness
Exceptional organisation skills
Ability to escalate concerns, anomalies or foreseen challenges to management
IT conversant

Thrive as part of a team, but happy to work autonomously
