    Description

    Are you an experienced and enthusiastic SEN Nursery Teacher looking for a new full-time role? Step Teachers are working with a "Good" Ofsted-rated Nursery School in Brent to find an SEN Nursery Teacher to join their team in May 2024, supporting a class of Early Years pupils in need of additional support. This SEN Nursery Teacher should be passionate and ready to engage with the nursery's polite, friendly and safe educational atmosphere.

    SEN Nursery Teacher - Role:

    • Supporting the development of children's language and communication skills.
    • Encouraging positive behaviour and providing pastoral support to children when required.
    • Preparing and setting up activities, ensuring that resources are available and used appropriately.
    • Providing feedback to parents and carers on children's progress and achievements.
    • Fostering a safe and inclusive atmosphere.
    • Compliance with the schools' policies and the reliable implementation of these.

    SEN Nursery Teacher - Requirements:

    • Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
    • Have recent experience as an SEN Nursery Teacher.
    • Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
    • Paediatric First Aid qualification preferred.
