    Position:
    Area Sales Manager


    Package:
    £50,000 - £55,000 pa + Company car (fuel card) + Commission paid monthly OTE £70k+ pa + 21 days holidays rising to 25 with service plus stats, Pension scheme, Annual company bonus.

    South East area (Home based)

    Hours:
    Monday - Thursday 8.45 (home based)

    Builders Merchants, Trade Counters, Independents, Construction industry


    As part of a vibrant sales and commercial team the main purpose of this role is to successfully deliver the companies commercial objectives from the territory they have been allocated as outlined by the Commercial Director.

    Identify opportunities for upselling, growing the accounts and cross-selling based on customer needs. This role is home based, managing a small number of key accounts (£5m pa in total value)

    As well as manufacturing and distributing high quality products they are a recycler, processor and compounder of PVC waste and boast an extensive range of extrusion capacity and capability.

    Home based covering the South East region selling and promoting the company's product portfolio via independent builders merchants and trade counters.


    • The principal duty of an area sales manager is to achieve the agreed targets set by the company. Performance against budget / KPI's
    • The ASM's are required to develop sales and profitability from the existing customers within the territory and to attract new business. Number of active and new accounts, and average SKU's per order, as measured as a KPI.
    • Reviewed quarterly with the Commercial Director.
    • The area sales manager will support customers with product training
    • When dealing with a buying society or key customer the ASM will establish relationships with senior personnel.
    • Manage promotions, campaigns, and events.
    Strong track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.


    • Ability to analyse market trends and implement effective sales strategies.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
