_Are you looking for a new opportunity__ in a changing and modernising industry?_**Commercial Waste Loader / Recycling Centre Waste Operative

  • Millhams, Bournemouth
We have a vacancy for a Commercial Waste Loader / Waste Operative. No previous experience is required.

Loading on a trade refuse / recycling vehicle moving large, potentially heavy, bins from premises to the collection vehicle.

Work may also involve collection of bulky items e.g., sofas and chairs, as part of the bulky waste collection service.

The full-time post is 37 hours a week working on a rota basis. It does involve some early starts, some late finishes and working some weekends.

Good communication skills are essential as you will be speaking to our commercial customers and members of the public.


If you are a flexible, hardworking, team player, who is able to carry out instructions efficiently and is proud to get the job done well, you will be an asset to our team.

The Labour market supplement is non-contractual and applicable until the pay and reward project completion.


As a result of the creation of BCP Council in 2019, we are working on simplifying our terms and conditions of service and will be creating a single pay structure which is to be applicable for all employees.

It is important to us that we offer benefits that our colleagues value as part of their total employment package and we are reviewing these to make sure we have it right.

We are in the process of establishing a timescale for implementation and colleagues joining us will be included in these changes.

Expected to be in place 2024.
