Description

Reed Scientific are recruiting for an Analytical Scientist to carry out the analysis of pharmaceutical products including finished products in various dosage forms, APIs and excipients.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a company with modern laboratories and excellent employee benefits

Salary:
£22k - £27k dependant on experience (with excellent benefits including private medical, life assurance, an enhanced pension, employee perks and more)

Hours:
Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours a week with flexible start times ranging from 7am to 9am (except during probation)

Responsibilities

Sample preparation and analysis usingLC/LC-MS and GC/GC-MS instrumentation
Report accurate analytical data internally and to customers, ensuring agreed schedules are met.
Follow all SOPs and adhere all cGMP regulations and processes.
Be responsible for your work schedule and time management
Contribute to process improvements and the Quality Assurance programme

Education, experience and skills

Degree in Chemistry or a related discipline
Knowledge or experience of LC-MS or GC-MS
Experience in method development and method validation would be an advantage, but is not essential as you will be trained in this
Excellent communication and time management skills are essential
The ability to be flexible and adapt to changing work priorities is essential
Due to location it is essential that you are a driver with access to a vehicle
