About The Role


We are currently recruiting for a
FULL & PART TIME FEMALE REHABILITATION ASSISTANTS to join an existing care team to work with a gentleman who has a spinal cord injury living in his own home in the Chesterfield area.


Rehabilitation Assistant Duties:


You will be working within an energetic and dedicated team on a rota basis, including weekdays and weekends to cover day shifts and sleeping night shifts.

You will be supporting this gentleman in attaining his rehabilitation goals.

You must be flexible, enthusiastic, outgoing, have a positive outlook on life, and a caring attitude.


The shift times are as follows:

  • 8.30am
  • 9.30pm (long day shift weekdays)
  • 8.00am 9.00pm (long day shift weekend)
  • Various times depending on day of week from 9.00pm 8.00am (sleeping night shift)
Non-smokers are preferred

An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check WILL be required
.

Rates of Pay:
Up to £17.20 per hour upon successful completion of competencies and training.


About You


You will be friendly, approachable, reliable, and trustworthy and you will work well as part of a team, but also able to use your own initiative.

Experience and ability to understand and deal with complex needs is desirable but not essential. Being registered on the DBS update service would be beneficial and a full driving licence would be preferred.
