    Infrastructure Manager

    Hybrid / Remote - 1/2 days a week in the office

    £75,000 to £95,000 + bonus

    Position Overview:

    As the Infrastructure Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing and managing our company's infrastructure, with a specific focus on network security. You will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining robust security measures to safeguard our network infrastructure from cyber threats. Additionally, you will lead a team of skilled professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure the smooth operation of our network systems.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement comprehensive network security strategies to protect against cyber threats, including intrusion detection, prevention systems, firewalls, and encryption protocols.
    • Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
    • Lead incident response efforts, investigating and mitigating security breaches or incidents in a timely manner.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deploy scalable and resilient network infrastructure solutions.
    • Manage vendor relationships and evaluate new technologies and tools to enhance network security capabilities.
    • Provide technical expertise and guidance to support teams and stakeholders on network security best practices.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience).
    • Proven experience in network infrastructure management, with a focus on network security.
    • In-depth knowledge of networking protocols, security architectures, and best practices.
    • Hands-on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems (IDS/IPS), VPNs, and SIEM solutions.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and mentor a team.
    • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CCNA Security, CompTIA Security+) are highly desirable.
