As the Vendor Specialist you will support our Account Managers and the Business Unit Managers, to develop and grow accounts to increase Ignitions market coverage and presence, helping Ignition to become the "go to" security software distributor.


You be will joining a market-changing organization, that specialises in the discovery and distribution of innovative and disruptive IT security and networking solutions to the IT community.

You will be working on the newest and most incredible technologies primarily focusing on Software, Cloud and Software-as-a-service based solutions.

As the Key Account Manager, you will:

  • Take ownership of Vendor specific accounts
  • Manage a Forecast and Pipeline
  • Manage and close incoming opportunities
  • Understand the Ignition sales process
  • Understand the Vendor sales process
  • Articulate the Vendor solution and the Ignition proposition
  • Achieve Monthly and Quarterly Targets
  • Target and identify larger opportunities
  • Sales admin ownership

The ideal Major account Manager will:

  • Experience of working in a target driven sales environment
  • Track record of success and closing business
  • Basic knowledge of IT
  • Confident and engaging presentation skills
  • Be flexible with the ability to work successfully a variety of environments
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good team player willing to share information and foster a positive team environment
  • Selfmotivated and target driven
  • Organised, structured, and work efficiently, with good attention to detail
  • Able to pass the HM Government Baseline Personnel Security Standard test
