Due to continued growth, they are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Commercial Lawyer with a minimum of 6 years of post-qualification experience (PQE).
As a Senior Commercial Lawyer, you will play a crucial role in providing legal counsel, strategic guidance, and transactional support to clients in various commercial matters.
Responsibilities
- Client Representation: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their objectives, and providing tailored legal advice.
- Transactional Support: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including but not limited to, agreements for mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, partnerships, and commercial leases.
- Legal Research: Stay current with industry trends and regulations, conducting thorough legal research to provide informed advice.
- Risk Assessment: Analyse complex legal issues and provide strategic recommendations to mitigate risks and achieve clients' business goals.
- Dispute Resolution: Assist in resolving commercial disputes, including litigation, arbitration, and alternative dispute resolution methods.
- Client Development: Cultivate and maintain strong client relationships, fostering trust and confidence in our legal services.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with colleagues and provide mentorship and guidance to junior associates and paralegals.
About you
- Minimum of 6 years of postqualification experience (PQE) as a Commercial Lawyer.
- Proven track record in handling complex commercial transactions.
- Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Strong client service orientation and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
