Pharmacy experience not required as all training will be provided.


We are looking for passionate and ambitious pharmacy assistants to join our friendly and enthusiastic team at the Kent and Canterbury Hospital.

As a clinical pharmacy assistant, you will be working with a a friendly and supportive team supplying medication to the wards, dispensing medications to aid patient discharge, completing medication related audits and much more

  • Working closely with the pharmacy technician and pharmacists at ward level to provide a medicine management service.
  • Managing of stock of medicines to ensure patients have the medicines available at the right time.
  • Dispensing of medicines to patients for discharge
  • Improving transfer of medicines with patients as they move from the unit.
  • Supporting the team with medicine related audits.
