Finance Manager - Based remotely with occasional travel to London / Bristol Offices
Salary £40,000 - £50,000
My client are a market leading UK based business that specialises in luxury beauty products. Their world-class brand is expanding fast and they are growing the team to include a new Finance Manager. As the business expands and takes on new challenges in the form of new markets, new retailers, new products and new ventures, the finance manager will be there to support every step of the way.


About the Finance Manager:
Working closely with the CEO and GM you will build business plans and define how to identify gaps. You will create ways to measure and report on KPIs. You will drive the P&L and business model forward, identifying growth opportunities, cost savings and efficiencygains

  • Full financial ownership of the balance sheet and P&L
  • Monthly review of P&L / Balance sheets / forecasts;
  • Investment appraisal across all projects
  • Identify, lead and manage profit initiatives within the brand, both commercially and operationally

Responsibilities:


  • P&Ls (weekly/monthly/annually)
  • Weekly stock forecasting
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Master invoicing
  • Retailer commercial agreements / pricing agreements
  • Pricing tracking
  • Promotional tracking/ retro funding
  • Invoice & Promotional funding matching
  • PO Management
  • Scenario planning for new retailers/ new markets
  • Experience in exporting and implications from taxation/ currency/ duties
  • SCM investment planning & stock management
  • Shopify reporting
  • Retailer sell out pivot tables and reporting
  • Long range investment planning

Job requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA or US equivalent)
  • Experience working within a fastpaced environment
  • Ability to work with external suppliers
  • Proven, handson experience of management reporting
  • Analytical, quick to grasp the fundamentals of a business and have strong communication skills.
  • Extensive business partnering & cost accounting experience
  • Ability to manage a highvolume workload in a fastmoving and changeable environment.
  • Ability to understand Export and internationalisation
  • Sell starter with hands on practical finance skills for a start up business
