Hours:Mon - Fri (08:30 - 17:00)We have a fantastic permanent opportunity for a Technical Graduate to join our Quality Department.

The role will be working Monday to Friday

Purpose of the Role:

An over view of the role responsibilities:

To ensure that products are produced to the expected quality standard of the retailer
To liaise with different departments within the business to ensure the best service is provided
To complete project work as and when required

Key Responsibilities within the QA include:

Support QA in weekly tasks
Completion of GMP & Culture Audits
Trending of data
Investigations and root cause analysis of issues
Consistency panels
Factory trial support
Customer visit and audit support

Key Responsibilities within the Technical Services include:

General support for team in areas needed to give rounded experience of deprtment
Attend complaints meeting/presentation and assess whether any additional data can be added or the fromat changed to help drill down into issues
Review Listeria trending/attend a listeria meeting at each site to ensure the data is being utilised feedback whether this can be reduced in anyway or if key data can be added to support progress.
Complete a review of packaging specs
Complete a review of packaging intake procedures to ensure all additional/new checks and frequencies are captured
Development of supplier performance report format to drive improvements and actions
Support on the supply chain mapping project (VACCP)
Review Authenticate systems (Asda/Morrisons) with support/training to help ensure full supply chain is captured/kept up to date and any system errors or supply problems are fedback to be addressed.

Key Responsibilities within the Compliance include:

New Raw Material sign off
Policy sign off
Management of Quality Culture
Any other reasonable requests
Support and train colleagues where necessary
Adhere to the company's H&S policies and procedures
Adhere to the company's Hygiene policies and procedures.

A BSc/MSc degree in a related discipline (Food Technology, Nutrition, Science, Food Science)
