Our client, a well-known player in the residential sector, seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join their growing team. You'll play a pivotal role in delivering exceptional projects.

Job Responsibilities:

Manage and oversee all commercial aspects of assigned projects, ensuring cost control and adherence to budget
Lead and drive procurement tasks independently, including ordering materials, appointing subcontractors, and managing variations
Prepare and manage monthly valuations for clients, ensuring accurate financial reporting
Contribute to forming initial budgets and specifications
Monitor site performance against plans, budgets, and financial targets
Collaborate effectively with internal teams (sales, land, construction, architects) and external stakeholders
Oversee monthly bank drawdown figures and maintain clear financial communication

Requirements:

5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor
Proven track record of success in a similar role, within the residential sector
Strong understanding of commercial aspects of construction projects, including procurement, subcontract management, and cost control
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with diverse stakeholders
Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
Experience using relevant software (e.g., Eque 2 or similar land appraisal & procurement software) is a plus.
