Based within our client warehouse working for Perenco UK, the Yard Co-ordinator will be expected to perform all activities involving packing CCUs for offshore requirements.

Roles and responsibilities

  • Presenting a positive image of the Company through first class service delivery and customer engagement, building effective relationships across the business.
  • Maintaining housekeeping standards within the operating areas, including daily checks of vehicles.
  • The safe use of forklifts and lifting equipment
  • Loading/unloading of vehicles in line with operating instructions and HSE standards
  • Undertaking freight / cargo handling in line with operating instructions and HSE standards
  • Packing/unpacking of shipping containers
  • Ensuring that items received are as ordered with the correct details and serviceability and that they conform to Perenco instructions issued by approved Purchase Order.
  • Follow requirements set out within Perenco procedures ensuring all steps in the process are followed.
  • Complete transport requests for materials to reach vendor/ other sites in the business.
  • Completion of Safety Data Sheets and Dangerous Goods Paperwork ensuring that this accompanies the materials throughout the cycle.
Minimum Competencies (Skills, Knowledge and Behaviours)

  • Customer focused and the ability to build and maintain effective relationships, both internal and external.
  • Accustomed to working effectively in a fastpaced environment, flexible and can adapt to changing workloads and priorities, where high standards are not compromised under pressure.
  • Ability to work standalone, demonstrating initiative and ownership, while a positive contributor to the wider team.
  • Motivated to achieve the highest standards of performance and customer support, maintaining a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications

  • 12T Forklift Licence
  • Manual Handling
  • Full Driving Licence
Desirable Qualifications/Competencies

  • COSHH Awareness
  • HSE related Training and an understanding of Health and Safety legislation
  • Reach truck licence
  • Dangerous Goods via Road, Air & Sea
