Description
Our client is currently seeking an Underwriting and Assurance Analyst to become a permanent member of their team.

The Underwriting and Assurance Analyst will work on projects to produce analysis with the goal of improving all underwriting and pricing policies.

The Underwriting and Assurance Analyst will be tasked with creating and improving analytical and statistical models for underwriting optimisation.

Experience within a regulated background will be advantageous for the Underwriting and Assurance Analyst position.


Key responsibilities for the Underwriting and Assurance Analyst

  • Use analytical and statistical techniques/models to support the iterative optimisation of the Underwriting Footprint
  • Deliver and support analysis into pricing models and production systems
  • Make recommendations for improvements following insight analysis
  • Be a conduit for change and improvement
  • Creation and maintenance of analysis programs, tools, and predictive models written in SAS, RADAR, EMBLEM, Python/R and other software packages.
  • Use insight to create business proposals and present to committees
