We are delighted to be working with a well-established private nursery, in Oundle, Peterborough.

They have an exciting opportunity for a highly experienced and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to join the nursery ASAP.

Experience as a Room Leader/ Deputy Manager
A minimum qualification of CACHE Level
Fully trained in the Early Years Foundation Stage.
Fully trained in safeguarding children, behaviour management, special needs, health and safety, first aid, keyperson, equal opportunities.
Experience of leading and motivating teams
Proven experience in running or helping to run a similar service.
The ability to manage resources
The ability to multitask and establish rapport with staff, families and external agencies.

Main duties:

Supervision of the planning and preparation of activities in line with EYFS to develop all aspects of the child's individual learning and development
Delivering on the job training, guidance and support to the team
Building and maintaining excellent relationships with parents
Liaising with families about their children's learning and needs.
Working a flexible shift pattern within the opening hours.
