    We are currently looking for a Hotel Reservations Supervisor to join our team in South Kensington on a temporary basis from April - October 2024
    Salary:
    £37,977 annually
    Purpose of the Post
    The Reservations Supervisor will be responsible for optimising bookings and occupancy for Commercial Summer Lettings (CSL). To manage the temporary reservations team in delivering high quality guest experience. To maximise revenue and profit of accommodation provision through effective systems, pricing and inventory management.
    As Reservations Supervisor you will oversee the reservations team, a central hub for all enquiries coming into the business. Our reservations team are the first point of contact for our guests. You will drive and optimise bookings, manage client enquiries and requests, and oversee the team to ensure excellent customer service skills and exceptional attention to detail.
    The Reservations Manager will train the Temporary Reservation Sales Agents and provide consistent support and development during their contracted period.
    Assist the Accommodation Sales Manager and the Product and Revenue Specialist in the day to day administration of booking extranets, retail and allocation systems to ensure up-to-date availability to sell our summer accommodation.
    Support the Accommodation Sales Manager with forward thinking and planning, to grow the department and meet targets.
    Maintain a good relationship with internal and external clients and suppliers.
    Report to the Accommodation Sales Manager activities, challenges, business trends and opportunities to increase revenue and brand awareness.

    The ideal candidate will have the following:
    • Educated at least to A level standards or equivalent
    • Excellent standard of written and spoken English, including phone manner
    • Excellent numeracy skills
    • Extensive revenue, reservations and groups sales experience within the hospitality industry in a residential venue
    • Experience in managing a team of 3 staff or more
    • Experience in using hotel/hospitality booking system (ideally Kinetics)
    • Customer Service Experience ideally in the hospitality sector
    • Excellent interpersonal skills
    • A confident, resourceful and creative individual who can operate in a challenging environment
    • Highly organised with attention to detail and accuracy
    • Self-motivated, enthusiastic and a good team player
    • Excellent standard of written and spoken English and numeracy
    • Ability to communicate effectively with a wide-range of stakeholders
    • Be able to prioritise workload, work well under pressure and cope with deadlines
    • Show initiative in the role and always seek to improve skills and knowledge
    • Passionate about delivering first-class customer service
    • Excellent telephone manner
    • A flexible approach to working, sufficient to be able to work a 5/7 days per week arrangement, work evenings and weekends, and able to work at various locations as reasonably requested
